Madagascar. In the streets of Antananarivo, a street child watches breakdancers. Between his face and his clothing, I perceive the tension of two opposing worlds.

As I move through the capital, I photograph children who carry the same contradictory message. By keeping the same frame and repeating the same postures, I create a visual pattern that lingers in the mind.
